OVERVIEW

The teaching explores the study of contemporary Italian literature, giving an account of the placement of authors and texts, both in the horizon of literary publishing and in that of cultural information in the space of the daily and periodical press. It is divided into two sections, the first of which is intended for students using the teaching for 6 cfu.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Aim of the course is the critical and philological study of texts, authors and genres of contemporary Italian literature in relation to the historical and editorial context in which they are located.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to achieve the following educational objectives: 1) consolidation of the knowledge of contemporary Italian literary; 2) ability to analyze the interaction that is established between the literary text and the socio-cultural reality of his time.
At the end of the course the student is expected to have achieved the following results: 1) a more mature knowledge of contemporary Italian literature; 2) a sure ability to understand the interaction between literary text and socio-cultural context.

PREREQUISITES

Essential prerequisites for teaching are a sure knowledge of contemporary Italian literature and a capacity for expression appropriate to the subject, with mastery of an appropriate vocabulary.

TEACHING METHODS

The course consists of lectures, with the help of multimedia tools and materials, for a total of 60 hours (40 hours dedicated to the first part, 20 to the second).

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Oral exam in the form of an interview.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Expected knowledge and skills will be verified through an oral exam. The preparation will be considered adequate if the student demonstrates the ability to exhibit using a relevant terminology, will show that he understood the issues addressed during the lessons, will be able to independently apply the critical reflection on the proposed works revealing that he was able to develop in a personal way the teaching content.
