Learning these aspects will allow students to address their resolution in a multidisciplinary manner, having specific training in the various branches of Sports Medicine. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The educational module aims to raise awareness of the main medical and trauma issues related to sports activity through a systematic analysis of the main systems; the correlation between clinical events and athlete performance; and the physiological and pathophysiological parameters of the main systems involved in physical activity. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The course of sport medicine is aimed to provide students with basic knowledge of cardiovascular and respiratory physiopathology in association with agonistic and amatorial sport. The cause will also introduce the most relialable techniques and instruments to evaluate physiopathological response of athletes to phisical exercise. A major part of the program will also be focused on the pharmacological malpractices linked to doping, smoking and drug abuse. PREREQUISITES - TEACHING METHODS The teaching will be composed of front lessons. ASSESSMENT METHODS The quiz will be composed of 15 questions with 4 to 6 possible answers of which only one is the most appropriate. Each correct answer corresponds to 2/30. The exam will be considered positively passed when total scores is higher or equal to 18.
