Information updated until 30/06/2026 CODE 118195 ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 CREDITS 10 cfu anno 1 SAFE TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS ENGINEERING 11920 (LM-26 R) - GENOVA LANGUAGE English TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA MODULES Questo insegnamento è composto da: PRINCIPLES OF DATA PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS TELECOMMUNICATIONS FOR TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The objective of the course is to provide students with a set of theoretical and practical ICT tools applicable to the field of transport and logistics engineering, with the aim of enhancing the safety and efficiency of such systems. This objective is pursued through two teaching modules: Principles of Data Processing and Analysis and Telecommunications for Transport and Logistics. The first module aims to provide students with the necessary IT tools to collect, store, manage, and analyze data to be used in the context of transport and logistics systems, with particular emphasis on the development of methodologies to make such systems more efficient, sustainable, and safe. The second module aims at providing the basics of radio communication principles and a functional description of latest generation radio mobile systems for supporting traffic in mobility with particular focus on their application in transport and logistics.
