AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course is made of two modules that provide students with skills on fundamental topics for the study of components and systems that are part of the energy sector. These topics are combustion and thermofluid dynamic processes. Combustion is certainly the central process in the transformation of energy in thermal plants. Technological developments related to the reduction of emissions, the increase in efficiency and the development of innovative technologies are necessarily related to the study of the combustion process. Thermofluid dynamics is the central topic of almost any process industry and fluid machinery for energy generation, process or propulsion. Both teaching modules address both from a theoretical point of view and from an applicative point of view, offering students the opportunity to carry out laboratory activities or discuss practical applications. PREREQUISITES There are no specific requirements.
