Networks, Consortia, and Institutions for a European University" aim to provide students with specialized knowledge on current European issues, sufficient for the presentation of individual papers. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The Jean Monnet seminars and initiatives in History and Politics of European Integration aim to provide students with specialist knowledge on current European issues, sufficient for the presentation of individual papers. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The Jean Monnet Seminar for the 2026-2027 academic year, through a multidisciplinary training program, aims to improve young people's ability to acquire new skills. The Jean Monnet Seminar, scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year, focuses on the topic: "The University Without Borders. Networks, Consortia, Institutions for a European University" 12 hours - 2 credits. In particular, students will acquire additional communication skills in written form (through group presentations) and mixed form (through the drafting of a joint final text that can be conveyed in written form or through video recordings), demonstrating critical thinking and the effective use of information acquired during the Seminar. All participants will earn Open Badges for the disciplinary and transversal skills acquired: Basic functional literacy: the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking, adapting communication to the context, and using various sources and aids; Basic social skills: the ability to manage social interactions, a collaborative attitude, and constructive communication in different environments; Basic learning-to-learn skills: awareness of one's preferred learning strategies, organizing and evaluating one's learning based on what one has understood and learned; Advanced project creation skills: the ability to develop one's imagination and creativity, critical reflection, strategic thinking, problem solving with particular reference to innovation contexts and evolving creative processes, the ability to transform ideas into action, and self-awareness. TEACHING METHODS The teaching method of the Seminar will be communicated to students one month before the start of the Seminar itself. ASSESSMENT METHODS The assessment is based on knowledge of the subject, expository ability and critical-interpretative ability. Furthermore, for the purpose of acquiring the Open Badges, clarity of presentation, ability to effectively summarize, organization of the presentation and ability to use the notions learned during the seminar activity will be assessed.
