OVERVIEW

This workshop will offer reflections on the observation methods and tools available to nursery school teachers. Specifically, we will explore and explore the systematic and occasional observation method and the tools of checklists, grids, and narrative tools.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This workshop intends to provide basic skills, on the one hand, to observe the children’s activities and, on the other, communicate with children and colleagues. During the workshop, a selection of strategies/methods to observe and communicate in an effective way. In particular, the workshop is aimed at developing the following educational purposes: • We will analyse the techniques/strategies to observe and communicate • We will simulate observation and communication activities • We will experience activities with the use of observation and communication • We will develop and create materials/instruments suitable for observation and communication

Designing an educational interview using different observation tools
Using the BONSAI model
