AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge related to the prevention and treatment of pathologies associated with sports activity. Furthermore, it provides for the deepening of knowledge on the subject of medical emergencies in sports. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Knowledge related to the prevention and treatment of pathologies associated with sports activity and on the subject of medical emergencies in sports. Specifically, the course objectives will focus on: Health and well-being: Promoting active lifestyles, preventing chronic diseases, and improving physical and mental well-being across all age groups. Quality education: Physical education is central to developing motor skills and instilling the values essential for a healthy lifestyle and sports competition. PREREQUISITES - TEACHING METHODS Frontal lessons. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Topics related to sports fitness, doping and BLS techniques will be covered. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY No specific or essential texts are prescribed. Students may study using the slides from the individual lectures.
