OVERVIEW

The Judo module is part of the Integrated Course Individual and Combat Sports.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to provide basic knowledge related to combat sports in general and judo in particular.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the module, participants will be able to:

  • describe the origins, development, and educational principles of judo;
  • understand the role of judo within the context of combat sports;
  • recognize the essential elements of rules and organizational structure;
  • analyze the performance model of judo;
  • identify the fundamental technical classification of the discipline;
  • understand basic methodological and didactic principles for teaching judo;
  • use appropriate technical terminology.

PREREQUISITES

Students are expected to have basic theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the first-year course Methods and Didactics of Motor and Sports Activities, as well as general motor skills.

Students with temporary or permanent limitations are required to attend classes and agree on alternative participation methods with the instructors.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Written exam within the integrated course “Individual and Combat Sports”, consisting of multiple-choice questions based on the theoretical content of the module.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The exam evaluates:

  • knowledge of theoretical content
  • understanding of performance models and methodological principles
  • appropriate use of technical terminology
  • ability to connect theoretical and applied aspects
