Students will gain practical experience with tools for both front-end and back-end development, learn best practices for their use, and understand how to integrate these tools into a coherent development workflow. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of these tools in real software projects. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES This module offers comprehensive, hands-on training on the fundamental technologies and methodologies for developing interactive and intelligent applications. Participants will gain skills in using key software development tools, learning efficient workflows and code management techniques. The course also includes an exploration of the Unreal Engine platform, focusing on the creation of interactive video game applications. Special attention will be paid to algorithms for managing intelligent agents, introducing concepts of applied artificial intelligence and autonomous behavior. The course combines theory and practical exercises, making the acquired skills immediately applicable to professional and design environments. TEACHING METHODS Theory classes and laboratories Students who hold valid certificates relating to Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), disabilities or other educational needs are invited to contact the lecturer and the school’s disability liaison officer at the start of the course to agree on any teaching arrangements which, whilst respecting the course objectives, take into account individual learning styles. The contact details for the university’s disability liaison officer are available at the following link: https://unige.it/commissioni/comitatoperlinclusionedeglistudenticondisabilita.
