The course integrates the theoretical and methodological aspects of training with the acquisition of fundamental execution techniques related to fitness activities with music and the use of resistance equipment. Particular attention is devoted to the correct execution of exercises, management of training parameters, structuring of the session, use of music as a teaching and motivational tool, and the ability to propose exercises and progressions appropriate to the characteristics of the participants. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to deepen teaching methodologies through technical and practical activities, in light of the theoretical knowledge related to the world of fitness. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES The activity aims to develop the technical and practical skills required to conduct fitness activities with music and resistance training sessions. At the end of the activity, students will be able to: correctly perform the main exercises used in fitness activities; understand and apply the fundamental techniques of fitness with music; structure a fitness-with-music class through its different phases; use music in relation to rhythm, class structure, and the characteristics of the proposed activity; understand and correctly use the main small equipment and resistance implements; perform and teach fundamental weight-training exercises, paying attention to technique and safety; propose exercise variations, progressions, and regressions according to participants’ fitness levels; organize circuits and exercise sequences aimed at developing the different components of fitness; manage the main session parameters, such as intensity, volume, duration, recovery, and density; demonstrate communication, demonstration, and technical correction skills while conducting a class; apply safety criteria and properly manage the space and equipment. PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge of training theory and methodology, functional anatomy, and exercise physiology is recommended. Adequate willingness to actively participate in technical and practical exercises is also required. TEACHING METHODS The activity is predominantly technical and practical and includes individual and group exercises, instructor demonstrations, guided practice of technical movements, and simulations of fitness-session instruction. The practical activities will be organized through: learning and improving execution technique; fitness-with-music exercises at different levels of difficulty; use of small equipment and resistance implements; construction of movement sequences and combinations; organization of training circuits; simulation of class instruction; observation and correction of execution errors; adaptation of exercises to different levels of physical ability. Particular emphasis will be placed on the student’s ability to combine correct technical execution, exercise effectiveness, group management, communication, and safety. Class schedule The timetable for this course is available here: Portale EasyAcademy EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION The ATPs do not have an exam. ASSESSMENT METHODS The evaluation of ATPs is based on the frequency and active participation. Practical assessment: the candidate will lead part of a fitness-with-music class. FURTHER INFORMATION A minimum frequency of 70% of total ATP hours is required for the recognition of ATP CFUs. Active attendance at ATP is required for access to the ATP-associated theoretical teaching benefit exam.
