It covers the main energy conversion and propulsion systems, the operating principles of fluid machines, and CFD methodologies for flow modeling and analysis. The course integrates lectures and practical exercises, fostering the ability to critically interpret the behaviour of energy components and systems, as well as the results of numerical simulations. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The teaching unit provides students with the fundamental skills needed to understand and analyse processes and technologies related to fluid machines, thermal systems and energy conversion.
