TEACHING METHODS The course offers a practical and engaging learning experience, with plenty of opportunities to communicate in Italian. Students will work individually, in pairs and in groups through activities suited to their level, with the teacher’s ongoing support. English may be used for explanations and clarifications. Short guided writing tasks will help students monitor their progress, improve their pronunciation and communication skills, and gradually develop their final project work. The teacher will also be available by appointment to provide clarification, assistance and additional learning materials. RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY The teaching materials provided by the teacher (slides, worksheets, exercises, texts and audio/audiovisual materials) constitute the course reference materials and must be studied. The assessment will include a short written test on the language elements covered in class, featuring exercises in the same format as those completed during the course, an oral interaction on personal topics, and the presentation of a project work on the student’s country of origin. PROJECT WORK With the teacher’s support, students will prepare an approximately 10-slide project on their country and culture of origin, including references to their personal experience, university background, and field of study.
