Admission criteria and procedure

1. Read the admission requirements

This is an open access degree course. In order to enrol, you must have a high school diploma (or other foreign qualification recognised as equivalent).

2. Register and pre-register

To register, you need to go through the online procedure, which includes registration and pre-registration (see the TUTORIAL).

UniGe Portal Registration

If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and obtain your UniGePASS credentials.

Pre-registration

Make apply for pre-registration using the UniGePASS credentials received with your registration.

You can apply for pre-enrolment even if you have yet to graduate or, if you are a graduate, even before applying for verification of the curricular requirements or before receiving the outcome of the same.

3. Support the verification of initial preparation

Support the English test

As indicated on the page English Project Freshmen - CLAT Language Competence Development, in the first year a Assessment Test is provided for those who do not have B1 level certification or higher.

The test corresponds to the teaching code 53394 English Language Proficiency Test, which must be included in the syllabus. The English language test is compulsory for freshmen in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, while freshmen in Philosophy, Humanities and History may take the test in one of the other languages (FrenchSpanishGerman).

The test is mandatory for students who have not yet obtained the B1 or higher level of certification.

4. Complete your registration

To complete registration for this course of study (see the TUTORIAL):

  • confirm that you want to enrol in the course of your choice from the pre-enrolment already entered,
  • pay the first instalment of fees according to the manner and the deadlines indicated.
