Course Council Coordinator

The Coordinator:

  • Performs all duties assigned by the University Statute and the Academic Regulations of the University.
  • Coordinates the committees and the persons responsible for the activities of the Degree Programme (CdS).
  • Convenes the Degree Programme Council (CCS) and submits for approval the SUA-CdS, the SMA, and the RCR.
  • Reports to the CCS on the outcomes of all activities carried out by the Committees and the various activity coordinators.
  • Convenes the Consultation Committee, sets its agenda, presides over its meetings, implements—together with the CdS—the proposals arising from such meetings, and maintains relations with its members.
  • Analyses the teaching evaluation questionnaires, the overall Degree Programme evaluation questionnaires, the AlmaLaurea surveys, and other information sources (e.g., surveys from organisations or companies hosting students for internships) in collaboration with the CdS Quality Assurance Committee, and submits the analysis document to the CCS.
  • Analyses the report of the School’s Joint Committee and presents the results of its review to the CCS.
  • Ensures that the online course descriptions are completed in all sections and, on behalf of the CdS, oversees the analysis of course content and the coordination methods among them to ensure harmonisation.
  • Periodically reviews the curriculum on the basis of data and recommendations derived from monitoring activities and organises its delivery, taking into account the needs of facilities and services.
  • Identifies and organises, in collaboration with the Department’s Orientation Committee, guidance activities and promotional initiatives for the CdS, in line with operational conditions (autonomy, budget, etc.).
  • Proposes to the CdS initiatives aimed at improving: the quality of the educational offering; relations with students; relations with members of the Consultation Committee and with the external community; and relations with other governing bodies of the Department, the School of Social Sciences, and the University.
  • Coordinates the class timetable to avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Optimises the distribution of examination dates and graduation sessions in accordance with the academic calendar, in collaboration with the Director and the other Degree Programme Coordinators of the Department of Economics.

DEGREE PROGRAMMA COMMITTEES

Quality Assurance Committee

The Quality Assurance Committee:

  • Completes and updates the Scheda Unica Annuale (SUA-CdS, Annual Programme Report) within the established deadlines.
  • Analyses and completes the Scheda di Monitoraggio Annuale (SMA, Annual Monitoring Report).
  • Prepares the Rapporto Ciclico di Riesame (RCR, Cyclical Review Report) and monitors the progress of the proposed improvement actions.
  • Reviews reports and requests from students, faculty, and technical-administrative staff, in accordance with the procedures established by the University.
  • Promotes within the Degree Programme a culture of quality in education and self-assessment.
  • Analyses teaching evaluation questionnaires, overall Degree Programme evaluation questionnaires, AlmaLaurea surveys, and other relevant sources of information (e.g., surveys from organisations or companies hosting students for internships).

Advisory Committee (Consulta)

The Advisory Board:

  • Communicates the needs expressed by society, the labour market, and the cultural sector.
  • Provides opinions on the alignment between the overall structure of the study programme—and its specific learning activities—and the demand for education and training.
  • Contributes to the periodic review of the Degree Programme’s updated list of professional career opportunities.
  • Designs, in agreement with the Degree Programme Council, initiatives aimed at enhancing the educational offering, strengthening the links between the university and local enterprises, and facilitating graduates’ entry into the labour market, including by identifying and clarifying the evolving skill requirements.

Degree Programme Website Manager

The Website Coordinator:

  • Updates and verifies the information published on the Degree Programme website, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Committee and a dedicated working group.
  • Ensures compliance with transparency requirements.
