Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness

What is it

The assessment of the adequacy of personal preparation is the meant to ascertain the possession of the necessary basic specialist knowledge for admission to the course.

It is assessed on the basis of the student's academic performance in the context of a three-year degree, either Italian or foreign, or a degree judged to be equivalent when assessing curricular requirements.

Who should conduct the Verification

How to access

To be admitted to the course you must pass a requirements assessment. You will have to upload the following documents on the UniGe Online Services portal by the deadlines indicated by the Course. The Committee will assess the suitability of your career and preparation based on the following criteria and scores set by the Course.

For all candidates

    .
  • graduation certificate including the list of exams taken (Transcript of Records) containing the educational objectives of each one and weighted average cfu (the latter also as a signed self-certification)
  • curriculum vitae
  • documents certifying knowledge of the English language:
    • certificate B2
    • .
    • degree/master's degree taught in English

If you do not have any certification and do not fall under the above cases, the requirement can be fulfilled by passing the B2 test provided by the University's Language Skills Development Department - CLAT. You can register for the test CLAT B2 English, which is free of charge for prospective Computer Engineering students.
