Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness

What it is

The assessment of the adequacy of personal preparation is meant to ascertain the possession of the necessary basic specialist knowledge for admission to the course.

How to access

If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, you must log in to the UniGe portal and obtain your UniGePASS credentials.

You will then need to apply for pre-enrolment using the UniGePASS credentials you have received.

How it works

With regard to the assessment of individual preparation, admission is conditional upon passing a test in mathematics and computer science, conducted via an interview, to which a preliminary quiz may be added. The interview, and possibly the quiz, will focus on the basic knowledge required to successfully complete the course of study.

With regard to knowledge of English at B2 level, admission is subject to:

  • for the 2026/2027 academic year, submission of a certificate at least at B2 level, from among those listed herewhich is currently valid  

Where and when

Non-EU citizens residing abroad must have already passed the individual aptitude assessment during the pre-assessment procedure via UnigeApply.

All other students will be invited to attend and assessed in person (Via Dodecaneso 35, 16146 Genoa).
