From the academic year 2025/2026 the UniGe student ID badge will become virtual.
This initiative, also adopted by other Italian universities, is part of a more general framework of actions aimed at the sustainability and digitalisation of procedures.
The virtual badge is already available, on Online Services (authentication via UniGePASS credentials) or on the MyUniGe app, for students from previous academic years.
For freshmen, the virtual badge will be available upon validation of enrolment data.
The physical badge will no longer be issued.
