Final project

For admission to the graduate examination, you must have completed all the credits required by the educational regulations of your degree program.

The undergraduate examination consists of the discussion of a thesis prepared under the guidance of one or more thesis advisors. Speakers must include at least one faculty member from your course of study.

The thesis may consist of:

1. an outline design of a merchant or military ship or marine vessel
2. a monographic naval and marine design study
3. a study of a theoretical, experimental or applied research topic

You may, in agreement with your thesis advisor, carry out research activities at university sites or companies interested in your thesis.

If you are an undergraduate, you must:

1. Choose the degree session
2. Enter the title of your thesis (if required for your degree programme)
3. Fill out the degree application online
4. Fill out AlmaLaurea questionnaire online
5. Return the books to the library, if you’ve borrowed any
6. Fill out the questionnaire for assessment of the didactic activity to evaluate your study course
7. Upload your degree thesis via the Carica Tesi

Remember:

1. Check that you are current on your tax payments
2. Pay the tax of € 46 for the issuance of the degree diploma via Servizio di Pagamento UniGePay 2.0
3. Check that you have completed all your exams and training activities and ensure that these are all recorded on your online career within 15 days of your graduation

The Graduation Committee has a maximum of 6 points to add to the weighted average expressed in hundredths, based on the evaluation of your paper and its discussion.

The criteria adopted for the evaluation are given in the dedicated section of the didactic regulations, drawn up by the departmental didactic committee and approved by the course of study.

The final test is passed if you obtained a grade of not less than 66 points out of 110.
