Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness

What is

The Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness is the tool provided by the Educational Regulations to assess your preparation for the purpose of matriculation to the Master's Degree.

How it works

All applications that meet the specific requirements will be reviewed for prerequisite verification.

A committee will evaluate your preparation, taking into account:

  • curriculum vitae and prior studies
  • vocations achieved in the examinations of the disciplines of interest
  • eventual interview which will be on the basic knowledge in mathematical, physical, chemical and technological disciplines usually acquired with a bachelor's degree in science-technology

The outcome of the examination may be one of the following:

  • admitted to the LM (you can enroll once you graduate)
  • not admitted (with specific deficiencies indicated that you will have to make up in order to be admitted)

The verification will be done on agreed dates. If you fail the verification you can take it again at least 30 days after the first one.

If you graduated in Italy in Physical Science and Technology, Chemical Science and Technology, Industrial Engineering with a grade greater than or equal to 99/110, you will not have to take the initial preparation test.
