The University deadline for pre-registration (see next point for application deadline) is

  • from April 12 to November 30, 2023
  • by March 11, 2024 with late fees

By October 11, 2023 submit the application for admission, via the online procedure accessible from the pre-registration page. The application must include the following documentation:

  •  the degree you hold, or are scheduled to obtain (by February 28, 2024);
  • the list of the examinations you have passed in your previous university studies, including the relevant number of credits, the scientific-disciplinary field and the mark you have obtained;
  • the indication of the curriculum of the Master's Degree (Dissemination and Teaching of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, General Mathematics) that you intend to follow or indication of the date (October 2023 or February 2024) on which you intend to undergo the verification of your personal preparation.

You can apply even if you have yet to graduate.In case you choose the February date for the verification, you can later supplement your documentation with any exams you have taken in the meantime.

Pre-registration and verification of the adequacy of personal preparation are free of charge. Payment of the application fee and regional fee is required only upon confirmation of registration.

3. Verification of personal preparedness

The verification of the adequacy of personal preparation focuses on the topics listed in the Syllabus and is based on your previous curriculum, the syllabi of exams taken in the MAT/XX areas, and a possible oral interview. Specific arrangements are agreed upon for students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (S.D.s). The outcome of the examination may be one of the following:
1.   unconditional admission to the LM
2.   admission to the LM conditional on the submission of a personalized study plan aimed at making up any missing knowledge
3.   non-admission to the LM with indication of a supplementary pathway suitable to fill the deficiencies with respect to the Syllabus. In such a case, you will be advised to register for individual exams to be taken by enrolling in "single educational activities " (for more information you can consult the relevant section on the enrollment page) 

If you have majored in Mathematics in the L-35 class you are automatically admitted to the course and the outcome can only be one between point 1 and 2. If you have already obtained in the previous 2 academic years admission to the MA, you are exempted from the procedure and only need to pre-register online.
