• Describe the objectives of the medical history, physical examination, and use of diagnostic instruments; • Justify the use of history, physical examination, and diagnostic aids; • Apply clinical reasoning by adopting a decision-making strategy with the preparation of the medical record; • Manage social interactions with a collaborative attitude and constructive communication in a clinical setting; • Demonstrate autonomy in decision-making, a collaborative attitude, the capacity to interact, and the ability to manage uncertainty.
Lectures and the assessment of clinical cases/simulations are used as educational methodologies. The first section of the course consists of lectures. The second portion of the course consists of evaluating clinical cases in groups using the methods presented and analyzed in the lectures.
