This course aims to develop students' expressive abilities in the field of representation. The practical and experimental approach of this course allows learners to jointly develop research and graphic projects while receiving feedback during each step of the process. Particular attention is paid to the knowledge and control of differently sized objects, through the graphic analysis of shapes, mechanisms, colors and materials.
The main goal of this course is to significantly improve students' manual skills in order to increase their expressive confidence in graphics. Graphic representation, in fact, needs to act as students' go-to tool to effectively translate and communicate their design ideas, both for exploring what already exsists, and as a source of inspiration for the creation of new concepts.
