The Geography of Communication module aims to contribute to an understanding of the strategic role of communication for the development of territories and local communities.
The course aims to introduce students to a critical reading of the processes of information production and circulation and how these processes impact on places construction and resignification.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
The course will alternate lectures with seminars (with invited external experts), working groups, debate and fieldworks.
The course is organized in 5 modules that discuss different topics related to the geography of communication. Practical activities of reading, thinking and group working will be developed along the course.

Group work, possibly carried out by attending students, even if discussed during the course, forms an integral part of the exam.
