A la fin du cours, l'étudiant : - aura acquis des compétences d'analyse approfondies des variétés de français dans les domaines socio-professionnels. - sera en mesure de comprendre des textes et des discours spécialisés, notamment dans le domaine des affaires et des relations commerciales en français.
At the end of the course, the student: - Will have acquired skills of analysis of the varieties of French in social and professional fields. - Will be able to understand and process texts and speeches at a specialist level within the business and trade relations in French.

Le cours présente un aperçu des caractéristiques des langues spécialisées en français, avec une attention particulière pour les aspects terminologiques. On examinera dans le détail de quelques domaines socio-professionnelles spécifiques, tels que le langage technique, le langage juridique, la langue de l'économie. On prendra également en considération les principaux outils de travail et de consultation disponibles en ligne tels que glossaires et manuels de rédaction.
The course will provide an overview of the characteristics of specialized language in the framework of the French language, with particular attention to the aspects of lexical and terminological variation. The course will present some specific socio-professional fields, such as technical language, legal language, the language of economics. It will also present the main working and consultation tools available online such as glossaries and drafting manuals.

Examen écrit à la fin du module, prévoyant des questions fermées (choix multiples), plus une contribution à l'analyse des textes spécialisés. Le test vérifiera les connaissances disciplinaires acquises pendant le cours, en plus de la capacité à analyser des textes de spécialité de niveau complexe. La compétence écrite en français sera également évaluée.
Written exam at the end of the module, which will include some closed-ended questions (multiple choice), plus a contribution to analysis of specialized texts. The test will check the disciplinary knowledge acquired during the course, in addition to the ability to analyse relevant linguistic aspects in texts of a complex and specialised level. Written French skills will also be assessed.
L'épreuve écrite du module théorique vise à vérifier l'acquisition des connaissances théoriques et des compétences méthodologiques de l'analyse des textes spécialisés en français. L'étudiant sera en mesure d'identifier et d'analyser les phénomènes qui se produisent dans le document présenté à l'examen, en utilisant les connaissances théoriques appropriées. The theoretical module exam aims at verifying the acquisition of theoretical knowledge about specialised languages and the ability to apply this knowledge to the specific analysis of a text. The student will have to be able to identify and analyze the phenomena that appear in a specific text, using theoretical knowledge in an appropriate way.
