The course intends to provide all those elements useful for the project at an urban scale.
Aim of the course is to provide a specific competence to work in the field of designing urban space and deepen regulatory issues, policy management, and protection for a sustainable planning.
There will be lectures and specific seminars ex cathedra aimed to deepen the different topics of the course. These lessons are preparatory to the development of a project at an urban scale in accordance with the European smart city concept.
The course involves the deepening of the contents already provided during previous teachings regarding the technique and planning. The current policies about Smart Cities and Smart Planning will be analyzed with focus on priority urban themes (mobility, waste, energy, tourism, ...), and the concept of (environmental, economic and social) sustainability, declined in its various tools (Agenda 21, Action Plan, indicators, best practices,...) and its relationship with the existing urban planning to urban scale, will be described.
Specific material on the various aspects and documentation useful for the realization of the project will be during the lessons will be given.
