The course aims to deepen and investigate family relations through theoretical models, research and intervention tools related to the couple, family and the parental relationship. In terms of methodologies and tools, measuring scales and graphical methods for the study and the intervention will be explored in the context of family relationships.
The course aims to promote the psychologist education in order to manage the main constructs that address the study, research and intervention in the psychosocial approach to family relationships.
The course will alternate lectures with working groups. Group activities can be also arranged to promote active learning methodologies of family relationship psychology.
The course is divided into two parts: the first deals with the theoretical background, methods and tools for the study and research in the field of family relations; the second part examines the complex parenthood as a theoretical and intervention challenge related to the weakening of family relationships.
