Nowadays the cruise and tourism industry has assumed an important role in the economy. Therefore, it is essential for tourists the knowledge of their rights and for operators the knowledge of their liabilities. The course focuses on the different regulation of the main contracts in the tourist sector.
The course analyzes the Italian regulation of the contract of passengers by sea in comparison with other modes of transport, focusing on passenger rights. The course also deals with the main contracts in the tourism sector with particular attention to the cruise contract and the tour contract.
The course consists in 48 hours of frontal lessons.
Interactive student participation is encouraged.

Oral examination.
As a rule, the exam is oral. Attending students may be given the opportunity to undertake the exam in written form.
The oral exam consists in at least three questions on the topics covered by the program of the course. The written exam consists in open-ended questions on the topics discussedduring classes and for this reason is particularly suitable for attending students.
