They have educational goals: the acquisition of analytical techniques for the evaluation of settlement conditions; the acquisition of tools and methodologies for the definition and verification of the design; the ability to place the project in the framework of planning and development legislation; the ability to identify appropriate references and cultural, through the analysis of significant experiences developed in Italy and internationally. LEARNING OUTCOMES (FURTHER INFO) The course aims to provide knowledge and skills about the tools by which transformations take place in the city, territory, environment and landscape, in relation to changing the characteristics and needs of society and the cultural and legislative framework. TEACHING METHODS The course will be structured in lectures and guided exercises. The first part of the course is devoted to the presentation of the cultural framework and reference methodology. The second part will present the tools and techniques of interpretation of the physical characters of contemporary reality. The final part of the course is for the illustration of the methods for the construction of the project that will be developed by groups of up to three students. SYLLABUS/CONTENT On the twenty-first century to limit an event marked a change in the historical perspective of the construction of reality: he collected and brought to the global dimension, transformed into common sense and shared, one that popularized, also sinking in the transformations of the previous century and in the theoretical stratifications in this direction proceeded from different backgrounds and cultural sectors, it was up until then a simple decoding. The 11/9 marks the end of certainty. Certainly not as a causal entity, if not in the short period in which this form was and still is by many strongly and forcefully presented, but conventionally it can mark it as a symbol of a changed attitude. It is not that because of that you can motivate a different pitch used or necessary in becoming proceed: either because of the event itself or the circumstances or the consequences that accompany and follow. However quietly that claimable from then on may be judged at every level of human culture and in every place of human presence symptoms of increased emergence of the doubt; or, in other words, from that moment on the concepts of truth and programmability, of distinction and ability to know, which until then declinavano reality around a possible clarification of its existing state and its evolution, its borders vanish. Beyond the consequent disordering rules it has produced, the state of exception that since then continues, what is relevant here is that that date may be considered as other than 'individually' in being in the world or in the stand in front of it . From that moment on, the end of certainty, and thus the end uniqueness of data on which to base any possible certain concatenation of sequences, it becomes a daily experience at a planetary scale, though not universally shared as problematic.
