The module PATOLOGIA DELL'APPARATO LOCOMOTORE E REUMATOLOGIA develops a thorough understanding of the main diseases in Trauma/Orthopaedics and Rheumatology; Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy intervenes to recover the disturbances of the locomotive system and compasses all the “ hands on ” manual techniques and exercise prescription for the relief or prevention of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
The module PATOLOGIA DELL'APPARATO LOCOMOTORE E REUMATOLOGIA delivers what happens when injuries occur and how to treat and manage them. The unit aims to provide students with the knowledge of the patient's healing process, to define an appropriate rehabilitation action according to the biomedical and psycho-social model. As with all areas of physiotherapy, the assessment is very important; then, with manual therapy , exercise prescription and other therapies, musculoskeletal physiotherapy improves and prevents the disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
The module PATOLOGIA DELL'APPARATO LOCOMOTORE E REUMATOLOGIA aims to provide students the ability to understand and solve issues related to:
Lectures are performed in all the teaching location by owners teachers and are explained with slides and videos. The Students/Teachers percentage report allows a direct comparison and an use of collaborative methodology, discussion about rehabilitation and working groups.
You can see the content of the learnings in every module of this course

VALUTAZIONE DEL PAZIENTE ORTOPEDICO SECONDO CRITERI ICF
Designing rehabilitation interventions and evidence-based strategies: from Guidelines to the implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic care (PDTA) protocols
The slides used during lectures and other educational materials (such as in-depth tutorial, E-book) will be provided by teachers; they may also indicate books, articles and scientific journals.
The notes taken during the lectures and material provided by teachers are sufficient for the exam.
It is suggested as text / support scientific articles from 2012.

Lessons: from october to december
Oral interview; the oral examination will be mainly directed to ensure a proper understanding of the theory discussed in the course.
Available 7 examination date.
The assessment method is explained during the lessons.
The exam consists of an oral interview based on the lectures and on the program, to evaluate knowledge and critical thinking of the student. The student have to prove his competence in scientific description of Muscoloskeletal Physiotherapy.
Pre-requisites: some knowledge on fundamentals of Anatomy and Pathology
The exam can be supported if the student passed all the 1st year examinations.
The exam is preliminary to the Tirocinio II (2nd year internship exam)
