The main industrial chemical processes for the production of fuels, nuclear fuels, semiconducting, metallic and polymeric materials as well as for the waste gases purifications are described and discussed technically.
The course aims to provide an in-depth knowledge of the main processes of industrial chemistry related to energy production, a critical analysis of the motivations of the solutions used in the production of the main products and the criteria for a correct approach to the design of a chemical process in terms productivity, safety and protection of environment.
