TEACHING METHODS Lectures SYLLABUS/CONTENT Building shell: fundamentals on dispersions through opaque and transparent components, dispersions by ventilation, requested minimal global heat transfer coefficients. Solutions to improve the energetic efficiency of opaque and transparent components of building shell. Thermal plants: fundamentals on plants efficiency. HVAC plants and components. Technical solutions to improve the energetic efficiency of plants. Plant-building interactions: Determination of ideal energy requirements for winter heating, energy certification of buildings, relevant European and national regulations.
