The course aims at introducing first-year students to the basic terminology, the classic authors, the main currents and the major issues of moral philosophy.

Students will get acquainted with the major topics, main currents and classics of moral philosophy, in a speculative and historical perspective. Students will be introduced to the major themes in moral philosophy whilst reading a classic.
Traditional lectures and seminar discussions on classical texts by a critical analysis of their contents
