The course aims at studying in depth (through philosophical reflection and a seminar teaching method) the themes in Philosophical Anthropology, a discipline which is extremely relevant in contemporary culture (although sometimes it is called by other names or it is not even mentioned). Topics addressed by the course include: the relation between philosophy and Humanities; the specific features that draw a line between Human beings, other animals and machines; love in its different forms; post-humanism, etc.

Getting acquainted with the following themes: the relation between philosophy and Humanities; the specific features that draw a line between Human beings, other animals and machines; love in its different forms; post-humanism, etc.
Analyzing emotions, specifically the emotions associated with conflict (envy, for example), in a perspective that includes a reflection on vice and virtue; references to both classics and contemporary authors will be made.
