The History of the Book and Publishing course deals with the advent and progress of printed books and their formal and physical characteristics. In addition, it deals with the history of publishing and a survey on the cultural specificity of the book within a historical-dialectical relation with the events of the material development of books, which on the one hand places them in a factual context and on the other, constitutes their symbolic base.
