Materia Science Course is intended to provide to the students the knowledge to manage Biomedical Projects. Metal structures as like Polymers will be introduced in order to evaluate their mechanical and functional properties. Bulk and surface basic features will be highlighted during the analysis of materials. Surface interactions with liquids and gases will be stuidied as well as the treatments to clean and sterilize surfaces.
Student will be able to understand the basic point underlying the materials engaged in a Biomedical Project
Materials Features will be defined as important parameters to be defined well before the beginning of a Project. As a final part a brief intro to the regulatory affairs and international rules will be provided.
