The Course will drive the students through the artificial composite materials used for bioapplications. Most of them adopt the same knowledge of aerospace projects so the course will introduce carbon and ceramic based reinforced composites, as well as both permanent and resorbable ceramic composites for internal body prosthesis projects. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course wants to provide to the students the basic knowledge to manage a project within composite materials, specially applied to bio-issues. The main task concerning composite mechanical and functional behavior will be introduced with particular attention to the new technologies aimed at supporting regenerative medicine tasks.
