OVERVIEW

The course has the aim to achieve specific training objectives through the knowledge of the physiological, psychological, cultural and clinical aspects of Psychopathology and Treatment of Sexual Behavior according to the modern scientific acquisitions related to the study and the analysis of human sexuality .

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire the basic elements of psychic functions, major psychiatric disorders, and their nosocomial classification. Develop the relationship ability with the user. Learn psychopathology and develop basic skills for treating sexual behavior. Know how to treat and care for the patient difficult and acquire the ability to formulate their therapeutic and rehabilitative processes. Acquire knowledge of psycho-pharmacology: classification and use of psychoactive drugs, action mechanisms, desired and undesired effects.

- Provide a proper multidisciplinary knowledge of Psychopathology and Treatment of Sexual Behavior

- Provide a proper knowledge of human sexuality and its modern issues

- Have a good knowledge of the methodological approach regarding the subject of the course

- Provide a proper knowledge of the specific evolutional, cultural and transcultural aspects

- Have a good knowledge of the different clinical aspects

- Provide a proper knowledge of specific psychiatric aspects

- Have a good knowledge of the specific therapeutic tools
