OVERVIEW

The course aims to provide an advanced understanding of core principles and topics of  interpersonal relationships in educational  settings and to enable students to acquire a specialised knowledge and understanding of many theoretical perspective.

The course will provide applications and operational tools for students to acquire knowledge and skills on the content addressed.

• the functioning of the brain and the mind
• the functioning of emotions
• the functioning of mental representations
• the different types of attachment
• the role of trauma in the development of disorganized attachment
• techniques of observation
• the behavior analysis in education

TEACHING METHODS

The course will adopt a constructivist teaching strategy which provides in addition to the lectures an active and thoughtful participation of students through the use of AulaWeb.
