The aim of the course is to provide the basis for a knowledge of psychiatric disorders, both in the pathogenic and in the symptomatic and psycho-pathological aspects. The student must be able to define psychiatric pathologies and to describe the different symptoms that characterize them. He must also be able to distinguish between physiological expressions of the psyche and pathological manifestations. He must have mastered a precise technical language.
