The course aims at a linguistic preparation that, with regards to communicative competence, reaches the A2 level (preliminary), to allow the student: a) to have a more secure command of the language in a wide range of situations; b) to discuss interactively on practical issues expressing the personal point of view, their agreement or disagreement; c) to describe experiences and events experienced as well as future projects, succinctly justifying the reasons; d) to produce a simple text concerning the family environment or the sphere of particular interests.

Communicative and grammatical competence.Theoretical module (grammar): completion of the concepts concerning the declension of nouns, adjectives and personal pronouns; the formation and correct use of imperfect and perfective verbs (prefixation), as well as their conjugation to the past and the future; the comparison of adjectives and adverbs.

POLISH LANGUAGE II
Three assessments during the year. The final exam will consist in a dictation exercise, in a written text and in an oral examination
At the end of the second year the student should be able to understand and comment in Polish a short piece of intermediate difficulty. He will show a good familiarity with some of the more complex aspects of the Polish language, being able, for example, to recognize the difference between the perfective and imperfective form of the verb and to explaining its meanings. He will be able to provide a description, in Polish, of an event or a person.
