On aulaweb the course proposes some thematic artistic criticism and literature paths to be explored with passages, scientific articles, films and personal reflections and with a final exercise to be agreed on with teaching staff.
Analysing specific aspects of artistic criticism and literature by reading and commenting sources and printed and handwritten texts from the 14th to the 20th centuries. The module also envisages exercises, seminars and online collaborative writing workshops.
A specific objective of the course is to analyse issues and methods of artistic criticism and literature that have already been tackled in the three-year degree course with specific readings and updates on emerging themes in the proposed periodisation.
Basic knowledge of artistic criticism. literary and art history.
Every week a test will be given online and during lectures to assess learning and during the semester a specific topic of discussion will be sought from students which will merge into a written final discussion.

At the exam, which will be oral, paraphrasing and commenting of passages, study sheets and art works, proposed in lectures which were objects of exercises during the semester, will be requested as will a reflection on the study text proposed.
