OVERVIEW

The course aims to provide the basic elements of cultural anthropology, to provide relativistic reading keys on the different human societies. In the second part, some aspects related to artistic processes, read from an anthropological point of view, will then be examined in depth.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course intends in the first part to provide some basic elements of anthropology also useful for the acquisition of 24 credits for the TIF. In the second part we will focus on the reading that the discipline gives the concept of cultural heritage in Western culture and on the visions that other companies may have of their heritage, analyzing different forms of expression in a comparative key.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

It is hoped that at the end of the course students will be able to face issues related to art with a new and comparative perspective.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Readings will be provided, useful for understanding the different conceptions of art and the processes that lead to the creation of an artistic object in different cultures.
