We will analyze the authors and the most significant works of the Sephardic literature written in Judeo-Spanish over the centuries, from the expulsion of the Jews from Spain (1492) to modernity, with particular attention to the production of the XX-XI centuries. AIMS AND CONTENT AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Through course attendance and individual study, students will acquire the tools to: - Read and translate literary passages into Judeo-Spanish; - Comment, contextualize and analyze the proposed literary texts; - Know the historical, linguistic and literary dynamics of a little-known expression of Hispanic letters. TEACHING METHODS Frontal lessons in Spanish with the help of multimedia material; individual study of the books in the bibliography; study of the material in aulaweb.
