The aim of the course is to provide the students with detailed knowledge about the main biochemical and metabolic processes which take place in biological systems. Specific topics will be: • main organic molecules of biological interest • principles of bioenergetics • main metabolic processes • control and integration of metabolic pathways The Laboratory module will provide students basic knowledge and competences about the main biochemical techniques used in biomolecular laboratories.
