The course intends to give students a broader knowledge of the morpho-syntax of Standard Arabic as well as equip students with the essential skills for the comprehension, analysis and translation of a variety of texts. Students will be enabled to produce own medium-length texts on a variety of topics and comment on them orally.
The theoretical module and the practical course will be held online via Teams.

Students will sit two examinations:
A written examination: the paper will test the students’ knowledge on the topics covered throughout the lectures and seminars and will consist in a series of questions.
An oral examination: students’ knowledge will be tested on the topics covered throughout the lectures and seminars.
Students will be asked to answer a series of questions related the topics covered during the lectures and seminars.
