The course aims to address the breadth of French-speaking overseas literature in its various historical and cultural aspects. Through the organization of a Francophone Book Fair, works by contemporary authors will be presented. Didactic notions of the literary text will be introduced in the second module.
At the end of the course the student has in-depth knowledge of the history of French-speaking overseas literature, with particular attention to the relationship between literary texts and the geographical and cultural context of belonging. He knows and knows how to use practical methodologies for the analysis and interpretation of the literary text and the dissemination of literary information to a non-specialist public. Can develop a teaching unit aimed at presenting the literary text to a secondary school class.
