The teaching activity aims to provide the knowledge of all those elements that constitute the essential motivation of tourism activity, i.e. the territory and its resources. In particular, the course aims to provide the methodological and interpretative tools of the wide theme of cultural tourism and cultural heritage, in the balance between conservation, valorisation and tourist enjoyment.
Except several indications due to the evolution of the health situation, the course will take place in the traditional way (presidential) by lectures, seminars, case analysis and work groups.

Ricevimento: Tutoring: On TUESDAY from 3 to 5 pm at the teacher's office at the DISPO – Albergo dei Poveri, Piazzale Brignole, 2 canc., Central Tower, 4th floor, room 4/38. However, as the health situation does not allow for face-to-face reception, the reception is held on the same day and at the same time on the TEAMS channel "Mangano_Ricevimento", code: g3272ro. In order to avoid overlaps and waits, please notify in advance by email (stefania.mangano@unige.it) in order to agree on a punctual time. Nevertheless, it is possible to arrange an appointment even outside the indicated day and time upon request via email.

Oral exam.
The learning outcomes acquired by the students are verified and ascertained by an oral exam. During the exam, it will be possible to verify the dialectical ability and the property to organize and structure the discourse. At the same time, students have to use in a clear way the concepts inherent tourism and cultural heritage.
