Particular importance is given to show the usefulness and the limitations of modelling and approximation in the development of understanding of the physical world. TEACHING METHODS The course consists of 60 frontal lessons. Attendance is not mandatory but strongly recommended. Practice sessions are also scheduled, at times other than lessons.
