AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the module the students will have acquired the skills for selecting, sizing and evaluate the performance of many heat exchanger categories present in industrial and civil installations. In addition to theoretical knowledge of analysis and modelling, the students will have acquired a technical qualification enabling them in designing heat exchanger systems and in the optimization of the performance. TEACHING METHODS The course consists of lectures and practical applications. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Heat exchangers: Classification. Logarithmic mean temperature difference. Efficiency. NTU.
