An intensive design experience, of groups of work belonging from DESIGN NAVALE e NAUTICO and Interior Design class of Florida International University of Miami.
The course aims to simulate a professional design performance carried out in a work team. Through discussion and debate is fine-tuning a project proposal contextualized in a boat or a cruise ship.
Working groups are made by Italian and American studens combined together. The activity starts with a visit to a shipyard to introduce the case study of the course. In the following days all groups are workong in the class to solve their designs. Every evening a 10 minutes presentation per any group is checking the work.
Final presentation will introduce a 10 minute multimedia production.

Every year treats a different study case.
The choice follows the most updated requirements of the world of the cruise market and/or superyacht interiors.
The first approach is to understand the field of work and the possible sources.
Then any group points out matierials, building methodologies, and solutions.
After every group propose their solutions in terms of interior designs.
Finally every group set ups their presentations and perform their show.
